Service is great. Had Shepard's Pie special and it was delicious. I haven't had a bad dish yet.

We had a great server. The salmon BLT was great. Nice view sitting outside.They have a nice draft beer selection also.

Clean, pleasant atmosphere; little to expensive for what we ordered. Choices are limited; not a place for children. Great view

It was our first visit & we enjoyed our meals. The evening we visited they were a little short staffed. Our view from our table was lovely, we were watching the sunset.

Just stop for a moment and remember the best crabcake you ever had. Now forget about it and hurry to Gilligan's! Cheryl's Crabcake is yummy. Ask for Cadie for your server. She's the best! Generous pours of wine and an u beatable view of the lovely Lewes canal.

I was there for a birthday luncheon. Our group was a total of 11. Lunch was good. I had their crab cake sandwich. Very good. Service was great. Our waitress was very accommodating.

The server was great. Food excellent.

We had The Most Beautiful Baby Shower at Gilligan's this past weekend . The staff was professional, efficient, friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate our private gathering. The food was exceptional, the atmosphere was spectacular and Lisa was a delight to work with. I look forward to future events at this location. I highly recommend Gilligan's for your next private party! You can't go wrong!

Good food but a bit too pricey for how good it was

Stopped by today around 4:30. Loved the remodel. I had an excellent Cadillac Margarita, burger and my daugher had their crab cake. Everything from the view, to the service was excellent. Absolutely beautiful day to be able to sit outside on a patio overlooking the water.

The view was fantastic, but service not so great My husband got a completely wrong order. He would not send it back because we had our 3 year old granddaughter with us, and didn't want to make her wait for his new order. But, even if he wanted to change it, we could not see our waitress, who went inside. We did ask another waitstaff if they could help us, they said you are not my table. I only wanted them to get our person.Anyway, the food was fair, we had a much better meal at the local Mexican restaurant.

This spot offers wonderful service as well as enjoyable food. The best spot in the area. The food arrived quickly and the rates were inexpensive. Highly recommended.

They have updated the decor but left the crab bomb perfect as always

Perfect meal. Loooove their crab cakes. Enjoy the atmosphere and being beside the water is a real plus. Love it every time we have a meal at this establishment.

Outstanding canal-front dining in Lewes, Delaware! Food, service, and atmosphere are all extraordinary!

Went during the last week in August and only had one chef in the kitchen, which meant when we arrived 80% of the restaurant had no food. After finding out the wait would be at least 30 minutes, decided to leave. Staff was less than helpful and unfriendly and the menu is extremely limited.

Called to see if reservations were available at approximately 3pm. We were told to come about 5:30 as all the reservations were sold out for the evening but they took walk ins earlier in the evening. 3 groups walked in the door with us at about 6. We were there for around 10 minutes waiting to be seated while the hostess cleaned off a table which wasn't too long but when she came back she asked how many were in our party, we said 5 and she informed us that they were out of entre`s. How are you out of entre`s at 530 pm with a full house of reservations yet to come? Also why not tell me this at 3 so we determine if we want to visit your establishment.

Service was a bit slow but dinner was delicious (yellow fin tuna) and crab cake dinner and the wine pour was very generous.

Location is on the canal providing a beautiful view of the water and boats. Food is always delicious with the presentation pleasing to the eye. My favorite is the crab cake, salad, and fries.

A very nice renovation on the restaurant. I had one of the best meals I ever had at Gilligan's 10 years ago. I have looked for it again only to be disappointed again and again. The menu is just lacking. On the plus side they do make a great crab cake.

The cream of crab soup was awesome!The fries are super, but the chips were tasteless. The crabcake and chicken sandwich were also very good. Service was good.

Unfortunately, I had the waffles and fried chicken. The chicken was more like a breaded breast and did not have much of a taste and was disappointing. Also, my friends ordered the scallops which was very good, however the meal lacked content and was not very filling.

The location and view is excellent, but they were out of everything beef except burgers when we went. The wings were pretty good, but everything else was nothing to write home about.

So we all got the crab cake dinner. Very good but wish there would have been two crab cakes when you buy a dinner! $30 and they forgot our side potatoes that come with it so we had to wait for that but it only took a short time. Overall food excellent but sorry to say not worth it and when I go out to eat prices are not the factor so will I go back there again? Yes but I would only get the crab cake sandwich!

New chef in 2019 new menu too. 3 Great salads. More to love this year! Nice atmosphere. It has a bar, outside seating looking over the water. Inside is very pleasant. Food is excellent. Call ahead during the summer months for reservations.

Very expensive! For the quality of food! They were out of quite a few things on the menu the Waitress told us The delivery truck didn't come yet. Really!! And this was Saturday afternoon!!

Went for lunch and sat outside. Very nice atmosphere. Went with beet salad and shrimp tacos. All were superb. Wait staff were overwhelmed and lunch menu was limited but overall a very nice experience.

Food was very fresh and nice portions. Burger was huge.

Crab cakes are not as special and mostly filler. Disappointing after spending 24 dollars for a crab cake

My girlfriend and I were coming through town and stayed at the Mansion Farm Inn BnB. David, the owner, recommended this place to us for some good seafood and Martinis. We were not disappointed! Their crab bisque was hot and flavorful and the Martinis were even and strong. All around good service and fair prices. Will definitely be back next time we come through Milton!

Excellent food..... great service. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Crab cake was one of the best I've ever had.

Ate there many times over the years, with many many guest. However on this day they would only take reservations for six. We were one short due to unforseen circumstances. Called ahead and told hostess our delema. She said it shouldn't be a problem as long as we got there before 530pm. We arrived at Gilligans at 515pm. Told the girl who we talked to and what she said. The hostess stated she does know who I spoke with, but that she could not accommodate us. As all of their tables are reserved. Now, all of a sudden they are short handed. We counted six empty tables from are vantage point.Sounds like someone wanted to get off early.We left and walked to the Wheel House across the bridge. I highly recommend.

Recently redone inside provides a cozy place to have a delicious meal and view of the bay! Don't leave without having the chocolate peanut butter pie, you'd regret it!

Lovely restaurant on the water! Great crabcakes and bloody Mary's.

On the canal in Lewes, DE, Gilligan's has a brief but diverse menu...from crab cakes (actually balls -- baseball size) to pork belly. I had scallops and grits; it was light, tasty and well presented. My wife's crab cake salad was equally well presented and she rated the crab cake as one of the best.
